Our KS2 football team suffered a very disappointing defeat against Kings Hill, losing 9-0, knocking us out of the cup. We are proud of everyone of them however as despite the bitter disappointment they held themselves high and persevered to the end of the match. Every child who played should feel proud of themselves for the determination and resilience they showed, they supported each other and all tried their best The other team on this occasion were simply better and was also made up of all year 6 children, who were older and physically bigger players, which does also make a difference.
We played football against Kings Hill. They were actually quite good. I played on the wing and centre mid. One of them was really big and they scored a lot of goals and knocked us out of the cup.
