Mini Youth Games
At Bredhurst this year, we have entered the Mini Youth Games (MYG) which is a competition and sports participation series available to all Medway primary schools and Kent primary schools. There are ten events, and each competition is primarily available to children in year 5 and 6. The games have been running for over 20 years with around 4000 primary school children taking part in the series every year. Prizes and a fair play trophy are awarded at each event.

Sporting events
- MYG Netball Tournament
- On 28th February we took 18 children to the Cross Country Series at Medway Park
- On Thursday several of our year 5 and 6 children took part in the MYG Table Tennis competition. They were placed 19th but although they were a little disappointed they were impeccably behaved and were a credit to the school.
- 8 children attended the MYG Swimming event at Medway Park against 31 other schools.
- On Wednesday 10th January some of our year 4, 5 and 6 children took part in the first sporting event of the new term.
